Financial control

What’s this about?

In any organisation, it is a basic rule that the Board must control the money. This means that no money is spent or received without authority from the Board.

The financial regulations, agreed by the Board, give permission to handle and spend money.

Greengate's cuurent financial regulations were agreed in April 2014. They are suitable for the development period, with a budget of under £50,000. But later when Greengate manages services, we will need more complex financial regulations, as proposed for 2015.
